I left the world of retail behind a year ago to pursue my dreams in photography. I'm a pretty awesome wife & momma to a spirited 3 year old daughter and pregnant with our second due in January!
I enjoy spending my days with my family, texting, facebooking, visiting the local zoos, & museums.
My favorite things include bare feet, my blackberry, gossip, Criminal Minds, and photography!
I was so delighted to do this session, as I have been photographing their little boy Connor for the past 6 months! He is probably a familiar face to most, as he is one of the first images you see on my main site when you open it! just because I adore this picture. but don’t they make beautiful babies?! can’t wait to meet the new little miss next month!!

These two were just too sweet with one another & their love really shines in these photos! Baby girl will be here in no time!
This (hot!) evening I met with the cutest family. We ran around, climbed rocks & trees, spotted frogs & got really sweaty!! Check out this cute little guy that just turned 2!!
Addison turned 2 yesterday. I can’t believe how fast the past year has gone & how much faster the rest of the years will go too. I will be away the next three days hanging out with her & doing girlie things. Including her 2 year portraits. I’m so excited 
I haven’t done a real session with her in nearly a year!

I met with J today & had a sweet sweet maternity session with her. Despite making her get up & down for the better part of an hour, the results are TOO cute! The twins have another 2 months to bake, but they make for a cute belly 
I wanted to take some time & talk about some upcoming changes to Stefani Marcus Photography. I have mentioned it here & there.. but finally putting it down for everyone to read. Some might of seen the changes on the main site, most probably have not!
For the past 10 months I have been portfolio building to get my business off the ground. I officially opened as Stefani Marcus Photography in April. My business continues to grow by the month & I couldn’t ask for more awesome clients & families to work with each week.
As most know.. I am also a full-time retail store manager. Yes, I manage a near $1 million dollar store, and still manage to capture your sweet children in their most precious years. Plus, tend to my loving husband & precious 2 year old daughter.
Over the past 10 months, I have slowly but surely learned new techniques, saved & purchased new equipment, grown as a photographer, and spent A LOT in gas money 
. As my abilities grow.. so do my prices. Starting January 2010, prices will be starting at $100 for on-location sessions.
Please know: I am still one of the most affordable custom photographers in the area.
I am about to upgrade my equipment again (for the 2nd time in one year!), and will have some of the best quality equipment that I can provide.
Here is some helpful information regarding Custom Photography prices.
While some families might have to cut back on the amount of sessions they do a year.. I will understand. Please do know.. Mini Sessions will remain! They too will raise in price, but will still be affordable enough to be able to do on a monthly basis for most families. Half – Sessions will remain too!

My EDD is January 12th, 2011
Pregnancy: Super easy, complete opposite of my daughter. I had 3 days of feeling ill around 6 weeks. I am very tired this time – despite being well into the second trimester.
I am craving: Pot Belly (the sandwich place), peppers, olives stuffed with garlic cloves (lol), hot stuff!!, Dr Pepper
My daughters pregnancy went to 41 weeks – and I labored 9 hours (got to 6 cm) before a csection “had” to be preformed due to fetal distress. I will be doing a vbac at a birth center, so the latest I am allowed to go is 42 weeks before I am transferred to an OBGYN for induction.
There will not be drugs involved unless something happens & I do go to 42 weeks.. and I can’t find an OB that will let me go till I give birth.
Daughter was: Born 08/23 – with an edd of 08/17. She was born at 6:57pm (csec after labor) – 7lbs 1oz

. Last time was a studio session, so it was nice to change up the scenery for this one! And I’m so glad we did! Look how cute this little man is.
